Pablo and I went out for a drive to Rakaia, we discovered Salmon world there, it has a beautiful cafe set over a lake with waterfall and salmon in it, we watched the 4d movie, was pretty cool the seats moved!
We both caught a giant salmon, but threw it back!

We also went into town a different way (can’t remember where it was!) and found this old church they were trying to keep the steeple intact, I do hope they get to repair it

My wonderful Aunt made me a gorgeous purple quilt, she flew over from Australia to deliver it to me, thanks Aunty Margaret! I have had it in my lounge, but worried about people sitting on it and making it dirty so have popped it on my bed for now, only trouble with it on the bed is no-one can see it, I wonder if I could put a huge empty wall to hang it on into my list of essential things to have in my new house…
We went to the Rodeo last weekend, a first for all of us! It was very hot so we bought some hats, but the rodeo itself was fantastic, can’t describe it so am showing it in pictures…
